89 Cherokee no spark
Hey guys, I have got a problem!!!! I recently pulled the engine, a 4.0 multiple point fuel injection engine. After the seal change and the oil pump rebuild I put the engine back into the vehicle. Everything seeems ok when I crank it over but there is no spark. The coil checks out the crank shaft position sensor was messed up (shorted and exposed wires) which I have replaced. The out put from the ECU seems to be ok but there is still no spark. Short of replacing the ECU, coil, ICM I cannot find any faults. Any ideals on what's going on?

Try checking your distributor cap and rotor. Also check the wire running from the coil to distributor.
