Default 89 cherokee looking for cheap place to get steering parts

possaibly a tie rod a threaded part that had a bolt on it snapped. the part with the threads aims straight up and is on the left side. if you was to look at the front of the jeep the first bar you see going across of course mine has some rust on it

well on the left side of it is about where it snapped

I also have another steering part that is warn out appears way up under the car and is hard to get to kinda which I believe is the cause of my shaking at 65 however I still haven't found out what its called my dad doesn't know either.

Also thinking the steering stableizer shock is bad aswell

any ideas where to get these parts fairly cheap and as to what that warn out steering part is its kinda in the middle of the car

we turned the wheel and did some tests first thought it might have been the tires

Going to pick up the part right away once I figure out what I need

The part with the grease nipple on the bottom and castle nut on top?
That's a tie rod end. They can be replaced separately.

Here's a generic pic of just that part:

Where did you end up buying the Parts? I know Autozone, Napa, and those guys. Did you buy online?
Anyone recommend online or standard autp parts stores to buy at?

I'm a fan of rockauto.com if I have a few days to wait for parts to come in. Usually cheaper and wide variety of brands to choose from for each part.

I paided 17 bucks for one sway bar link at autozone I have however seen them for 10$ brand new on ebay the part I really need is a damper bar.

It is rusty and looks like it cant be turned im pretty sure that's the main part thet was loose that my dad saw im gonna price it out today im gonna check ebay for this.

But some people need the part right away and don't feel like waiting so the local part store could be some peoples option

what happened to me is the ahole at the store sold me a part with **** missing out of it. I looked on the zone site and it said they had 2 instock so I went down and tried to pick the sway bar links up . guy says oh I only have one I tell him the computer says u had 2.

so anyways he says do you want the one so I say yet only one broke screw it.

I get it home and dident realize I tossed out my receipt next thing u know I open the box and the nut is missing

If you bought it at Autozone, they have you listed on their computer so it should be no issue to return it or get the missing nut.
Don't get too mad at the employees about if they have it or not. They have to use that same stupid inventory control as we use online which is all computer. Whenever I look online or call for parts, I ask them to physically look. Or the store I use, they volunteer to look before I even ask. And will hold the parts for me.
Also, NAPA has been good for me.

I work at autozone part time and their inventory is horrible. Just go back to the store and you should be in the system. Or just go to Home Depot and get a nyloc nut. Plus at autozone or any other parts store, you have some kid who thinks they know everything but he is only making $8.50 an hour.

The internet makes it easier to resolve these issues. Email the manufacturer of the part and cc autozone corp. You will get a response. The manufacturer will probably send you the nut direct. And autozone will get a reply themselves. And include this link in your email. They do not like negative attention, especially on a site with this many owners. When they do reply, post their response too.
