I just got a 89 2door cherokee. I have to change out the exhaust beacuse the owner before me cut off the cat and welded in a muffler with no tail pipe. My qustion is...does the tail pipe go on the right or left side? the hangers are still there but they are on the left side. The cat and muffer will be on the right side. If any one has exhaust pic that would help me out a lot. Thanks !!

it is supposed to be hung on the pasanger side, just go to an exhauast shop and it should be like 300 bucks or so, they will build you one. or you can order a cat back system, a cat, and then take those to them and they should do it for like 100 or so

Thanks...I bought a direct fit magnaflow converter $79.00 and a direct fit thrush muffler $24.95 and a direct fit tail pipe $13.00 and some hangers and clamps. For a about $130.00 and 2 hours labor I got it done.
