Default 89 cherokee drivers seat broken what will fit

Anyone know up to what years of seats will fit in my 89 Cherokee.

I have called a local junkyard but they only carry a 2000or newer nothing older so I need to know if the seat would fit

If you can weld you can make adapter plates and a ton of different seats will fit.

Otherwise for a bolt in youre looking at 94 and earlier like the above poster said.

yes only problem is that someone told me the where as though I have top of line model for that year or something the seat could be rare.

Someone told me that a pioneer seat is different then a regular Cherokee one anyone know if this is true?

I think you are correct, the pioneer seats were different (not as good). I had an '89 Laredo and they were much better seats than the 2000 sport I'm driving now.
