Default 88 xj motor swap question newb

K so I'm new to the whole jeep thing I have a 88 Cherokee with a 2.5L and ax-4 4spd stick trans with d30/35's, I've tried searching to see how hard it would be to swap in a 4.0 ho but only swaps coming up are v8's can someone help me point me in right direction maybe a link or some info what it would entail

Not that easy to do unfortunately. Can't remember specifics but I think front springs motor mounts electronics wiring ecu tcu and probably more I forgot are the big things. Also think the x member is different. I wouldn't attempt it unless you have a complete donor jeep.
