88 cherokee probelms
Hey guys i just got a 88 Cherokee with a Dana 44 rear with limited slip and a Dana 30 front with vacuum connect I DO.T NO ANYTHING ABOUT IT I just bought the jeep and wana no a few things about it, it has 33 inch tires and a rubicon lift, I no is thare a *** you pull in the dash to lock it up and my gess it looks aftermarket my question is that the only thing that engages the four wheel drive instead of the stock pull handle Etc etc and if the *** does lock it in does the pull handle work

It really is a dying art....
The pull **** is called a "posi lock", you still need to use the 4wd lever (this is for the TRANSFER CASE, not the front axle).
After you put it into 4wd you will push in the button on the **** and pull, let off the brake so the jeep can roll, and keep pressure on the **** until it locks in. You are now in 4wd.
