88 Cherokee Larado - Engine Trans from a 96 swap?
Have a 88 Cherokee Larado 4x4, I6 Auto Trans. The tranny is bad. I have the opportunity to aquire a I6 with Auto Trans 4X4 from a 96 worth the money. My question is HOW HARD WILL IT BE TO MAKE IT WORK IN MY 88? I'd rather have a tranny from a 87-90 as I think they would be like my 88 but, the the guy selling the 96 parts will sell them cheap. I just don't know if "making it work" would be too much trouble.
