Hi when taking apart my center console to work on my parking brake that broke, I saw a couple wires that had broken off at some point during it's life. They ended up going to the light under the handle to show the position for the transfer case( 2hi, 4hi...) I looked at it and the place it broke makes it impossible to fix so I was wondering where and what part it is called to replace? I didn't even know it had a light since I got the jeep so if it's expensive then i'll just forget it and go on living without it like I have been doing. Thanks.

yea you can probably go to the junkyard and find the same center console and remove the cover where it says 2hi... 4hi... and there will be a socket.... take it and splice it with the wires you probably have there expose

ok thanks. I just didn't know if I went to an auto parts store if there was a fancy or specific name for it because everyone knows that most people at the stores(minus napa) don't know anything except how to run the register.
