87 waggy stock tires
Good morning all:
My tires have tread but are dry rotted, so new tires are on the horizon. Currently installed are 215/75r/15. All searches indicate 205/75r/15 for stock on the 87 waggy-4.0.
So, stick with what's there, or go with stock?
This is my DD with very occasional off-road and the possibility of light towing.
Thanks in advance!

I have 235/75/15 hankook dynapro ATM on my all stock XJ.
I think they are great for city/highway/mud. They look aggressive without being overkill. Really quiet on the highway also.

Everyone I know with a stock XJ runs 235/75R15 tires. Nobody except me had any rubbing with that size, but I have aftermarket wheels and no sway bars, so I had to do a little trimming. Mine fit fine and never rubbed on stock wheels though.

Yup, mine have no rubbing at all at full lock. I have factory sways installed with no issues. It's nice to have a little meat.
