Hi,
Does anyone have the factory wiring diagrams for this Jeep?
The other day my horn stopped working, and I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting without a wiring diagram.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks!

Do you have voltage at the horn when hitting the horn? If you just power from the battery does it sound? Fuse, switch , or a bad horn would be a good place to start.

You might find one at cruiser54.com or xjjeeps.com.

First thing to check is the horn relay at the front of the driver side fender well
Thanks for the tips, guys. I'm gonna start at the horn and make my way "up hill.".. I've found the horns (2-tone) behind the grille.
But your collective comments already raise an interesting question: is there a horn relay, or isn't there one?. (Of all old cars I've worked on, not all do.). Thus my wanting the schematic, so I can understand the circuit (before picking up my DVM).
But accepting 4.3L XJ's comments that there is one, you mention it's at front of the driver's side fender-well. I think I know what mean, but I want to clarify: do you literally mean the fender-well (behind the LF wheel), or do you mean "foot-well" (under the steering column, near the fuse-box)? Go ahead and call me a dummy if you need to.
Shooting from the hip, my first guess was going to be the slip-ring. But guessing at electrical problems can often waste a lot of time (done that too often).
Thanks for links, BlueRidgeMark, but I didn't find anything applicable there.
Thanks again, everyone... I"m new to Jeeps, but I'm having fun already. This is a great community.

Horn relay is a little white box dangling from some wires above and to the left of the fusebox.
I checked at the horn, and have no power there. I ran 12v to the horns (high & low) from battery.. They both work. Under the hood, I found a grey wire with black tracer going from horns into a big bundle that goes back to firewall. Under the steering column and by fuse box, I did not find a white box or anything else could identify as a relay. (I did find the hazard and turn-signal models). I'm leaning towards taking the steering wheel off and looking there for a bad slip-ring.
Thanks for the help...
