hello,
I am new to this forum but i have a 86 cherokee laredo and it has been sitting for some time and my plan is to restore and lift it to make my weekend warrior rig but i am having some trouble with the instrument panel i have heat gauge up to 100 then it stops the tachometer works but the clock flashes and nothing else works the radio also works and also the heat doesnt work. maybe some one could steer me in the right direction to try and fix this

Make sure you check all fuses. Does the radio keep the time when you shut the power off? The heat should be mechanical. Make sure the cable is moving under the hood. You may need to replace the Temp sensor.
Do you have the 2.8 V6?
Also where are you located?

 

yes it is a 2.8L v6 5 speed i live in maine
