i have a 1985 jeep cherokee and when its is running and the head lights are on i have like no volts and when i turn on the turn signals the lights dimm with the turn signals! and when i hit the brakes its the same thing!! and after i have been driving for a while and i shut it off and go to start it a couple mins after and it doesnt wanna start like the battery is low!! if anyone has advice for my problems it would help me alot!!

 

Have you check the grounds for the turn signals and brake lights?

 

ya i was having a problem with the right brake light and turn signal blinking with each other when i turned on the turn signal and they were really dim so i had to run a new ground to the back right lights

 

Grounds like alien says and check the altenator's output it may be too low or just enough to keep it running.

 

i will have to check that when i get off work tomarrow and i will let you know
