Okay so i have some questions about throwing a ford 8.8 out back. Will the yoke just bolt right up to my erar driveshaft? The one im getting is set up for cherokee spring perches and shock mounts but will the yoke bolt up nice and easy? Also, will the brakes hook up with out problems? I know theyre disk brakes not drums like my last one... And what about the e-brake cable?
As for the LSD in it, i think its a trak lok, im im correct tahts the lsd they used in those late exploder's rear ends, or are there different ones? What do you guys think about this lsd? Will it b fairly reliable? As that is a large concern for me. Thanks guyS! I knkow its a lot of qusetions but i wanna make sure this axle is worth it

search about the yoke, i beleive it's a flanged axle and you need an adapter for a 1310 u-joint.
you will need a grand cherokee proportioning valve to get proper fluid to the rear discs, some have lived without it. but proportioning valves are cheap and easy to find so why the heck not.
that lsd is terrible. in a weak carrier. at the bare minimum weld the tubes to the centersection and get a full case locker.
if it was me i would get a super 8.8 kit on top of that. widens the axle to stock xj width, eliminates the c-clips and you get alloy shafts.

i dont plan on running over 33s, as long as its reliable i dont care. if its not very effective off road that is fine, but will it do okay?

I think im going to hit up the junkyard for that proportoning valve, Ill have to ask they guy but im sure he has hte adapter for the axle yoke (not sure if theres a difference how the yoke hooks up with th D35 versus the 8.25???)since he did have it on his cherokee for a bit.
I looked at some articles about the ZJ proportioning valve, looks kind of complicated to do, and i dont follow the write ups i saw quite 100%. Do i have to swap the p/valve?

Best price you'll find.
I'll be making a write up as soon I get my kit and get the axle underneath my Jeep.
