So i pickrd up an 8.25 rear end, came without brakes on it. No drums, shoes hardware or wheel cyl ... Just backing plates. How can I go about figuring out what I need to get brakes working.....

Most are 9 inch drums, you will need, drums, shoes, hardware kit, adjuster kit, wheel cylinders and lines to make them work.

Thanks. On rock auto I can only find Dana 35 and 44 drums. Are they interchangeable?

You will need to look up a year that had the 8.25 like a 1998. Your 88 if bio is right didn't come with it.

Be a good time to go with a disc brake set up if you can locate the parts up there.
