8.25 dimension question
Anyone know what the center of axle to bottom of differential dimension is on an 8.25 diff?
Thanks |
1. How exact does this have to be?
2. Why? |
Want to compare it to an 8.8
|
On the bottom of the 8.25 is lip that can be ground off at least a 1/4" and it affects nothing........except that much more to drag on.
If that is the only reason for a swap its not worth it, not that difference and its cheaper to just add disc brakes to the 8.25 also. I guess IMO the labor of the custom install and having to carry 2 driveshaft's instead of one. Your plans may include things I don't see though so you may have a good reason. JMHO |
