because it uses a lot of the same parts from a D30. plus the factory air lockers are known to be problematic. oh and its low pinion.

because cheap cherokee drop the ball i grab it and ran pluss my ears perked up bolt in 44 im runnign 38 though i found a chep up grad not for that money like 1,500 i can pu a 60 in the front with gears

basically dont waste your money on that 44, building up your HP 30 would be better unless you want to do lots of fab work on a waggy or early ford d44

no they didnt. no american XJ EVER had a 44 front axle. they are all 30s.
