703 injectors in obd1, actual flow
anyone ever measure what the 703 does for actual flow in the obd1 cherokee they are known as a direct replacement for? in closed loop the ecu can correct off the o2 to a small degree. at WOT the ecu switches to open loop and the pulse is fixed. that means if the flow is off you can nuke the cat if you're too rich or get sensitive to detonation if it's a bit lean.
was curious before i ordered a set of new ones from this guy on ebay

As far as everything I have seen on bench testing the 703s flow about the same as stock. I never like using WOT as a discussion point because it is rarely a real world event. This upgrade has been done thousands of times and guys are still encouraging others years after they did it so if XJs were getting messed up from it or failing emissions tests etc you would see a lot of posts about that.
