6in lift.. front driveline issues???
so I'm new here. Hello every one.
I joined up because I'm having a bit of an problem with my front end.
I own a 94 xj L6 4door with about 6inches of lift. Running 33/10.5s
older rubi express parts in front (that's lower arms, new track bar, springs, shocks, brk lines... etc) and a simple shackle and leaf kit to lift the rear.
1in t/c drop
NO SYC for the rear but haven't had any vibs or probs yet with that.
My issue is with the front driveline.
I can't be sure yet but I think that it's slipping in four wheel.
has anyone had this issue?
was I supposed to do something up front to help with the angle?
or is it more likely that my tc is messed up?
thanks in advance for your help guys.
I'm trying my best here but I'm still verry new at this.

Do you hear banjos?
When you dropped your T-case, did you correct the alignment of the linkage?? If not, that would be your problem, it's simply slipping out of 4 wheel drive. HTH!!

Woah!!! that's great advice I didn't even think of checking it when we did the drop.
I'll check that out tonight and see if it helps.
any other suggestions while we're at it guys?

IF after you checked the linkage it still "slips" in the front it may be your transfer case chain slipping. Mine skipped in the front when I bought my 94 with 205,000 miles and I needed to replace the chain and gears...Tj

That's a big negatory on the linkage
tried it out and no go on the linkage.
it's holding in four wheel but it almost sounds like it's jumping teeth or the yoke splines are slipping from being too far stretched. is that possible?
it's only a 6in lift.
I hear ya TJ. I'm just reeeeaaaly hoping I don't have to rip that thing open. ...but if I do , three things...
how can i be sure that's the problem, is it something i can do myself and how much d'ya figure I can expct it to cost me?
