Default 6.5 lift.

if i buy a 4.5 lift kit with new coils and an AAL could i keep my current 2' AAL in and put my coil spacer on top of the 4.5 coils making 6.5' of lift?

I don't think that sounds like a good idea. I'm not even sure if that's possible to add two "add a leaf" to one leaf spring, is it? Sorry but I've never had a lift with a AAL. Seems like that would kill your rear suspension, as far as your ride goes. I have a 4.5 in lift and am going to 6.5 with coil spacers up front and shackles in the rear. My advice is go with shackles to lift the rear. There not the much.

thanks for the info. would coil spacers kill the flex? and why would you not want to stack AAL's? could you not put them in diffent places?

if you want a 6.5" lift, buy a 6.5" lift

you don't want to cut corners on suspension.

the coil spacer on the front would work, but you will need to buy a longer trackbar, upper control arms, new swaybar endlinks(disco's) shocks, brakelines, etc.

the rear will work, but you wont get 6.5" of lift out of it.

at this height you need new leaf packs and some shackles
