Default 6.5 inch brake line length

I have been working on my jeep and ruined a brake line, there is a local shop that has them, and i was curious if any one new how long of length i would need... any help would be appreciated.

chevy/gmc 1500 2wd v8 models have a brake line that is 7" longer than the stock lines. That is what i use. They are cheaper than S.S. lines. and every auto parts store has them

as far as actual length. Take the from shocks off and cycle the suspension to its limits. Worst case scenario, you blow a shock out and then you dont want the brake lines being a limiting strap. (this mainly applies to short arms)(with long arms you only want to go 2" longer than your shocks extend)
