4x4 problemss HELP
i have a 1990 cherokee with the aw4 and np231 it will not lock into 4 hi or 4lo my front axle will lock in but my transfar case will not go into gear at all please help me i have been trying to see whats wrong and cant find anything. thanks

Check Transfer case fluid level and consistency. Also, you may want to check the vacuum line (I think your Jeep has a vacuum actuation for tx case) Not sure though...I would start with fluid level.
