4x4 problems
when i shift it into 4x4 the light does not come on. i dont know if the 4wd is actually working or not. however the when it is in 2wd the front drive shaft does not spin. when it is put into 4wd the front drve shaft starts to spin. any suggestions on what is wrong with the light. or anything else. also is the front drive shaft not suposed to spin when it is in 2wd, because on mu truck it always spins.

I'm new to this as well. My light wasn't coming on but I just drove around in 4hi for a little bit in the snow and the light system works great, I don't know if that was because the 4x4 wasn't engaging right or not but that fixed it. Otherwise theres a switch for that light. I have no idea about the front driveshaft.

I haven't seen mine in a year or two... I know the 4WD is working, so I figure its the light.
I don't feel like ripping the dash apart to replace a bulb, so it can stay how it is.
That's about as simple of a solution as you can get...
