so i went to the river yesterday in my 1994 (2 door) jeep cherokee and i put it in 4x4 to get through a little soft sand or what now and now it wont go back into 2wd the lever is stuck.. what should i do?

 

While rolling around 5 mph, put the transmission in neutral, then try to shift the tcase into 2wd. It may resist your efforts, so push harder. If the lever still won't move, i'd get under there and check the linkage.
