so after about dying yesterday due to the all mighty death wobble, i took the jeep to the shop today...while putting in new upper and lower ball joints i decided to check the 4x4 to make sure everything was good..so with all wheels in the air, i engaged the 4x4 and the front wheels wasnt pulling. the front drive shaft is turning fine but nothing from the front wheels...i hadnt really noticed since i havent had it in 4x4 since i got it..i did notice that the 4x4 light on the inside stays on all the time...someone told me it might be an actuater or whatever that thing is... any ideas on this? Its really annoying, and i had a big camping trip planned this weekend...if anyone could help i would be super greatful..ty

check ur front diff...my 4wd wuz not workin....i toof off front diff cover an this fell outbut i got a new front d30 an a rear d 44 for 150 bucks

 

ya taking off the front diff cover and seeing what the problem in there is would be my first step. most likely the part time light being on is something else tho.
