I did a search but couldn't really find anything on this...
I have a 2000 4.0L with the 2wd, 4hi, neut, 4lo set-up. When I shift it from 4hi to 2wd there is a delay, usually about 10 to 20 seconds, and then a significant clunk when it shifts to 2wd. Is this normal? Is there a cable linkage that I can tighten up?
Thanks.
