Jack it up and see if the fronts spin with the back when in gear.

....Jacks....

You should also be able to disconnect the rear and front driveline at the transfercase and get under the rig to see if the output shafts are spinning. DO NOT disconnect at the axles, or your drivelines will spin around and remove things you need, like brakelines, exhaust pieces, and maybe even some sheetmetal. This is the safer route and doesn't require jacking up your rig but is hard if your not lifted. Chock everything(if you can) and have a plan if it decides to take of on its own. Safety first!! I had a '69 F-250 take off down a hill once when I disconnected a driveline! If you fill out your profile, we'll know more about your rig before you ask, click on the dark shaded box(mine says 1990 Cherokee) below my, or anyone's, profile name and you'll see I've got a 1990 Cherokee, AW4, 242 J, 3" lift, 31x10.5xr15's etc. Click on "User CP" at the black bar at the top of the screen, then "edit details". The more you share, the more we can help
