4WD light issue

for the past couple of days they 4WD light on the dash keeps flashing and stays on once in a while..while its not in 4wd. im sure it might be a sensor..im just looking for a lil help on what the problem might be..if you know or have an idea. feel free to let me know..thanks

You have a vacuum disconnect and the switch is activated off vacuum. Just follow the lines from the actuator up into the engine compartment and you will find the switch (piece hooked into a vacuum line with wires coming out.) Just unhook it. Your light wont work anymore, but it takes care of your problem.
