Default 44K vs Sea Foam?

I wanna run some stuff through my gas tank to clean out any carbon/junk buildup in the cylinder or fuel system. I have heard wonders from Sea Foam, and I have heard about this product called BG 44K.. It has an ad periodically on the forum.

So, which is better? Any opinions?

Uh So i just seafoamed the crap out of my jeep. I ran it through the vacum line from the brake booster and i used a little to clean up the the throttle body. Anyway i flooded it pretty good. I got it to start up a couple times and it coughed up a bunch of smoke. Now it won't start. Shoul I just wait it out? Or did i mess something up?

Try this before you touch the key push the go pedal to the floor, hold it there and start her up, it might turn over for a while but it should catch when it does hurry up and release the go-go pedal, it should stay running if not try to start normally ,if not redo the flooring of the pedal.

Got it to start holding the pedal sown. It ran for a few seconds and died. Now it won't start again.

Sounds like the Seafoam knocked some gunk loose and it's clogging something.

Pour MORE Seafoam in there and blast the clog out.

I'm not sure that would help. I'm thinking thers probly just so much seafoam in the vacum lines and in the throttle body that when it starts it floods itself again.

Not to sound like an ***, but you kinda jacked my thread. It went from discussing Sea foam and 44 K to your sea foam issue.

Back to the ORIGINAL topic, does anyone else have any preferences in fuel cleaner? I personally have only used Sea foam in the crankcase (worked some magic or something.. made everything a bit smoother and more quiet). I like the looks of the results of that 44 K too, but if Sea Foam does it better, then I'll go with it.

I used Seafoam in my XJ, seemed to work good. I did all the spots you put it in separately though cause I didn't want to flood it like that one guy did ...

used seafoam as directed on the can. 1/3 in crankcase, 1/3 in tank, 1/3 in tb. you would never guess it has 250,000. mmmm i love that stuff.

Yea, you got it Krawlthis, mine has about 275,000 miles and it runs like a top with the help of Seafoam. *Bump* to SeaFoam!

and if you decide to put it in your crankcase dont run it to long. just long enough to clean, maybe MAX 100 miles, then change your oil.
