Cool 4 wheel drive really rough

xj 4.0 h/o 4x4 4 1/2 lift 32s quick disconects. just had new rear end put in the front is d35 3.73 the old rear was the same but it looks like the new rear is a 3.55. now my speedodometer was not working so i checked the speedo gear setting and it was off(29tooth set at 34 i belive) so i moved it to 29-34 would that have anything to do with my 4 wheel drive not working right cause before all that it was just fine. thanks

DO NOT USE 4WD, you can not run 3.55 in the rear and 3.73 in the front, also the front is a dana 30 not a dana 35 axle. your rear axle is either a dana 35 or a chrysler 8.25. the reason 4wd is rough is because you are running different gear ratios in front and rear. doing this can cause serious damage. are you sure that the old one was 3.73 and that the new one is 3.55

Yea, Don't, HA!

If the F/R ratios are different that is a huge issue.
