Default 4 high problem

Hello so i had quick question and need some help. I have a 1991 jeep Cherokee 4 wheel drive. I am having problems with the 4 wheel drive. The problem i am encountering is only when i put it in 4 high it does just fine in 4 low but when it comes to 4 high it doesn't stay engaged and started grinding and then i come to a stop... though it was a user issue so i made sure it wasn't before this post. Any help will be appreciated. Could it just be that i need to make adjust on transferase?

I think you are on the right track. Sounds like an adjustment issue. I don't have a link to the method handy but a search here will probably pull up a bunch of threads.
