4.0L compatibility ???

4.0L compatibility ???
I've got two XJ's one is an ongoing project gutted out 91' And the other is a bone stock 01' which now has antifreeze in the oil pan. I need to know if the two 4.0's are compatible for a swap. I want to check the bad motor and do a possible rebuild it has 140k on it. I'm a little tight on cash and want to drive the 01' while the other motor's on the stand. Thanks!!
