4.0 bucking/running rough
All been done.nothing only thig that made any diff on mine was to pull the cps clean and re Install.went away for the day until I drove around for a few hours n shut it off.then bucking .and I'm talking a stop start in engine electrical signal that shakes the whole jeep.not to be repeating myself.all ignition is good from box to cool to wires cap plugs n pick up.only thing I noticed when happened today was huge drop in voltage replacing alternator(because it screams I'm going out)will post my side soon.any progress on yours man?

Sorry, Been under the weather for a few days and haven't gotten to get back at it. Hoping to get back at it tomorrow.
How on earth do you get at that crank sensor? and would I not have cranking issues????

I had some of these same issues recently, changed the CKS (crankshaft position sensor) and all is right with the world.
Make sure you get a Mopar replacement, I had 2 parts store replacements, both were DOA. Not to mention, the one from the dealership was actually $20 less.

Resurrecting this thread. I have never fixed this problem and haven't really driven the jeep much since my last post.....but the last couple days I dove back in. today replaced fuel injectors again. No change.....tonight went out in the dark (don't know why I hadn't before) and there was a light show around the #3 plug. I swapped the #3 and #4 plug and the plug arched in #4 also....so I have an arching plug...Hope this is my problem. These were brand new plugs also....so I got a bad one in each batch I guess. Geez. I will post back tomorrow with results of new plug.
