All been done.nothing only thig that made any diff on mine was to pull the cps clean and re Install.went away for the day until I drove around for a few hours n shut it off.then bucking .and I'm talking a stop start in engine electrical signal that shakes the whole jeep.not to be repeating myself.all ignition is good from box to cool to wires cap plugs n pick up.only thing I noticed when happened today was huge drop in voltage replacing alternator(because it screams I'm going out)will post my side soon.any progress on yours man?

Start with the cps first. Since you some luck with cleaning that.

I had some of these same issues recently, changed the CKS (crankshaft position sensor) and all is right with the world.
Make sure you get a Mopar replacement, I had 2 parts store replacements, both were DOA. Not to mention, the one from the dealership was actually $20 less.

Did you have a "long cranking time" because I don't and I am just curious if the cps can be bad with a normal crank time.

Not really... Except for the times it would not fire up at all. To be honest, I could not tell you all of the symptoms associated with a bad CPS. Bit everything I read led me to that fix for mine. Especially since they say the CPS is good for ~100k miles and mine had 240k on it.
For me it was worth the $75 to give it a shot.

Resurrecting this thread. I have never fixed this problem and haven't really driven the jeep much since my last post.....but the last couple days I dove back in. today replaced fuel injectors again. No change.....tonight went out in the dark (don't know why I hadn't before) and there was a light show around the #3 plug. I swapped the #3 and #4 plug and the plug arched in #4 also....so I have an arching plug...Hope this is my problem. These were brand new plugs also....so I got a bad one in each batch I guess. Geez. I will post back tomorrow with results of new plug.
