Sure, they would look great.
But with stock gears, You're gas mileage will drop in half, You're acceleration will decrease, to the point of possibly loosing to a Semi truck uphill.
Sounds to me like 33s would be a best bet for you! the effect wont be AS bad..

these guys have made great points to run a 35 i would put a 4.56 gears or if you are really wanting to go bigger after that i would go ahead and do 4.88's then you could run a 38 with no problems if you don't want to cut anything when you put the 35's on i would probly go 4 more inches on what you already got just so you got good cleanerance the look on the 35's would be like 31's on your 3 inch kit just bigger

a 33 i would do a 4.10 or 4.11 even though i have been running on stock gears for almost a year now but i'm going to a 4.10 it really depends on what you want for the gears if you go to advanced i think its 160 for the rebuild kit and the gears itself i caint remember

either way for 35's trimming is a must unless you lift the jeep to the moon.
as for gears, shop around, but trust me and go with a proven brand. yukon and nitro are good companies i have experience with. you can install them yourself with some specialty tools and lots of patience, but offroad shops around here will charge around 200-500 per axle and it is well worth it to some people.

just stacking some lift on his current height wont help his flex one bit
i had a bad choice of words but seeing as how he has 3 inches now he would need 2 to 3 more inches to fit 35's

4.88's and 38's would be SEVERELY undergeared.

4.10's with 33's isn't worth the hassle. 4.56's or 4.88's would get you a touch deeper than stock and will help make up for the added rolling resistance and mass.

as far as that its all just personal preferrence 4.10's and 33's are better than 3.73 on 33's any day

Stacking liftts is awesome
YOU will hear manyppl say I have 33's and stock gears and it isnt that bad again
Trimming sheet metal is your friend when you want to go over 33's. Also if you plan on crawling your rig you will need to bumpstop or cut the hell out of your fenders,
As for regearing.
4.10's were available stock. You can pick these up from the PNP for around a 100 bucks. way cheaper then buying gears 125, buying an install kit 100, and then paying someone to install your gears. Having gears installed normally runs 300 to 500 per axle.
