Hey guys I don't mean to start another thread when there are so many others but searching through all the threads about lifts and tire sizes it's been hard to find good pictures of what a 3 inch lift on 30's will look like. My lift is coming from Rough Country tomorrow so I'd like to see if I'm gonna have to go for bigger tires to make it look right if the 30's look goofy. Any pics i can get would really hel. Thanks

oh and also whether or not 31s will not only look better but perform better with a wider stance.

sorry, no pics for you.. But from experience, I had 30's installed on my budget 3" lift after having 31's that were crap. The gearing, driveabillty did not improve noticeably at all. The tire shop I bought them at literally let me swap them out the next day for 31's, that was pretty nice of them. The 31's just look that much better on the lift, they FIT the profile of the vehicle, and the 10.5 is just a little bit wider, so yeah you get a little wider tread.

No they don't look bad at all, although 31s look better (IMHO), but probably not worth spending a ton of money on if you already have good 30s. Just get the 31s when you need to replace the tires.

BTW- REWSTER, digging the front bumper!

yeah Rewster thats a sick jeep. I wish my 94 looked that nice. Aight thats what my buddy said i should do, just keep the 30s on till they're done and just move up to 31s at that point. thanks guys and REwster that made me feel good about what they'll look like

I think it would look pretty sweet if you painted (or powdercoated) your wheels the same color as your front bumper.

This is my jeep with 30x9.5x15's. The only pics i have of it with the 30's on it is muddy like this. If you want to see another one i got one. I dont think that it looks bad. I switched to 31's not too long ago cuz i found a good deal and just yesterday i switched to 33's cuz i found a good deal. Check out my pictures they are all on there.

Yea that would be a good idea. Either that or paint them black. Thats what i did. It looks pretty good.
