Hi, I just bought my first cherokee. Its pretty nice, but its old (95) and sags in the rear a bit.I want to put a 3 inch lift on it, and I'd like to do it for as cheap as possible (I have 400 bucks to spend). What do you guys suggest? If you could provide a link that would be awesome. Also, will I need to get another spacer or leaf spring for the rear to fix the sagging, or will the lift kit correct this? Thanks!
ah found a good lift kit by searching the forums. This should fit my 1995 cherokee, right?

Go to roughcountry.com first and when you order, ask for Jason. Those are AAL, not full leaf packs like the picture would lead you to believe.

True, but still for that price, that is a great kit! Plus free S&H. I've recommended that kit to 2 people, and they were happy. It's a good starter kit.

Seems like a decent price for an AAL. Just remember you will need to extend your rear brake line...Tj
yep I have had my rough country 3" for a year and a half now and never had a problem. 2 front coils 4 shocks and 2 rear add a leafs for 199$ or so. on 31's I can do some good wheeling and still have it be my dd
uh, i know this is a newbie question, but whats AAL? And would I have to get a new brake line or can I buy an extension?

An aal is an add a leaf. you add it to your existing rear spring pack. I dont think you would have to buy new brake lines just an extension.

Add a leaf. you add one to the coil pack you already have as opposed to a full leaf pack that is completely new leaf springs. AALs are known to sag a lot sooner than a full leaf pack would.
and personally i do not think youd have to extend brake lines. were talking 3 inches here. any more than that i would say its a good idea.

Thats the same kit thats on carparts.com for $200. I ordered it and it came to $227.99 with tax and shipping. Shipping is free but they charge a $12.99 heavy weight fee and $15 for tax. Total $227.99 shipped to your door. Mine should be here this week. Good luck.Originally Posted by 98bluexj
