Default 3.75 backspacing?

Hi I just found a set of M/T Classics, 15x8 with 3.75 inches of back spacing. I am putting 31x10.50s on my 95 xj with a 3 inch lift. Will these stick out to far? Rub the fenders etc...

you should be fine as for rubbing. might have to trim the corner of the flare.

as for sticking out too far, not really. maybe an inch or so.

The Jeep on the left is sitting on 15x10 rims with 3.75 backspacing. A 15x8 rim will have about an inch less sticking out from under the wheel well. Even with the 2 extra inches on the rim width and running 33x12.50x15 tires I only rub the bottom edge of the fender flares on the back of the front fender on the street. On the trail with the suspension flexed and the tire stuffed... well that's a different metal bending story all together, but you should be fine with the tire and rim package you are looking at. And just for reference the Jeep on the right has 33x12.50x15 tires on 15x8 rims with 4.5 backspacing.

here is a 265/70r15(30.6x10.4) on 4" bs. You should not rub, if you do just trim

btw i rubbed at 1.5" that is why the fender is pushed in...

Wondered if anyone would notice that. It happens when the shocks are to long and you keep bottoming out the suspension dropping off of rock ledges. Still haven't fixed that yet.
