2wd to 4x4

im thinking about turning my 2000 cherokee in to a 4wd.i was wondering what year running gears would inter change.

Engine: 4.0l

any year of the front axle will work and i think all year of transfer case too by the way the older ones are a high pinion axle the newer ones are not

axles will work from any year, just make sure they have the same gear ratio. i would recommend the np231 TC. they seam to have less trouble form what i have read.
