mostly tru. But heres a true and relevant scenario for you .... a few years ago My friend did a 4 inch lift on his XJ and took it and had it aligned. Yet he would still have problems. I had him take it to a place here in NY where my buddy worked and where i once worked years ago (and we wer trained on the hunter alignment machine together) called auto alignment world; Anyway , turned out the rear wasn't checked at the place before and he needed a shim to be installed and that fixed it.. wasn't cheep tho.
Bottom line make sure you go to a place that knows what they are doing and have it checked for a 4 wheel alignment , i know on the hunter machines that even tho there may not be adjustments for caster or camber in the rear that there are shims available for precise adjustments that work on most popular vehicles..... well i know at-least they did back when, until i stopped doing them in 95.
