Default 2007 grand cherokee diesel cold running issue

hi , i'm new to forum . i have a 2007 grand cherokee 3.0L DIESEL 4X4 . HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE . NORMALLY JUST AFTER COLD START . PUT IN GEAR & ( SORRY IF MY DESCRIPTION ISN'T 100% ) IT CHUGGS & WILL GET BETTER AS IT WARMS UP & RUNS FINE . I'VE HAD IT CHECKED MANY TIMES & DEALERS AREN'T VERSED IN US & DONT SEEM TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG EVER . I'M TOLD IT COLD BE GLOW PLUGS BUT THERE ISN'T ANY CODES IN ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION. I DONT BELIEVE ITS A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA'S ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR SO I CAN HAVE IT CHECKED OR WHAT ELSE TO PAY ATTENTION TO SO I CAN GIVE BETTER INFO TO REPAIR SHOP. THANKS .

All the diesel's I've run have chugged a little when started cold.

Try going through the glow plug cycle twice to get the cylinders a little warmer. Might help with what you are describing.

BTW, post up questions about your Grand Cherokee in the Grand Cherokee section a couple spots down the forum list, you will likely get an answer quicker.

diesels run like turds when cold. remember diesels use compression to make heat to ignite the fuel. if its cold its not guna be hot enough to ignite the fuel efficiently.
