Default 2005 Transmission "slack"

Hi guys, I have noticed a "slack" between pressing the accelerator and the wheels actually turning. This is most prominent when the truck is already rolling and acceleration is added. The transfer of power to the wheels can be felt as a "jerk", and heard as the wheels engage. This has happened after coming to stops and going again, but rarely.

I would say 80-90% of the time acceleration is smooth without the "jerk", 99% smooth acceleration after coming to a stop.

Thanks

p.s. I promise this is not a case of lead foot.

You're probably seeing these odd happenings because its a GC.

My 2004 GC does not do that at all, I'm sure this will be moved to the correct spot soon.
