2002 GC won't move when turned to right/left

Hi all,
My 2002 Grand CHerokee has a strange symptom. When you turn the wheels hard to the left or right the transmission seems to partly disengage...meaning that I have to use excessive throttle to get the vehicle to move.

Transmission fluid is fine.

Any suggestions?

are you in 4wd? does it sound like the trans is slipping?

2002 GC won't move when turned to right/left

It's in 2WD. Actually, my daughter is driving this vehicle and she is living in another city. This is happening when she is parking and pulling into her garage...excessive throttle needed to engage the transmission.
