Hello everyone,
New user here with a question about the evaporator in my 2001 XJ. I've always done most mechanical work myself over the years, but now at age 72 I'm kind of limited physically. Is there anyone here who could recommend a reputable repair center or mechanic who specializes in Jeeps that could replace my AC evaporator (and heater core while they're at it)? Someone who is experienced at this and does top quality guaranteed work? I live in Southwest Connecticut (Fairfield County).. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I have had work done at goonies garage in Holbrook Long Island. If you are willing to travel I would highly recommend them. I'm not sure exactly where you live but I'm pretty certain the ferry from conn to long island lands very close to the shop.
