My daughter has an 2001 jeep grand cherokee and has an issue I have searched all over to diagnose this problem. The symptoms come and go. Drove it for 30 min the other day in town going 0-70 during the trip with no issues. Stop at a light then get up to about 30-35mph and the RPM's shoot up, but the jeep wont go. Its like its in neutral going down the road. I have to pull over shut the jeep off then restart and take off. Its starting to happen more and more. There is plenty of fluid in the transmission. Any thoughts?
