Well, I wouldn't trust an 0331 head that blew a head gasket.
That's like kicking a guy in the nuts and expecting him to run a 50 yard dash right after.
The Clearwater/ProMaxx Jeep head is cast and machined in China. These heads are almost always a nightmare due to the poor valve job which leaves each valve at a different tip height.
TUPY heads are available at almost every junkyard in the country for an average of $75. The TUPY head being as inexpensive, widely available and as durable is it is, leaves it as the only option for a 00'-01' 0331 replacement by a wide margin.
I have a clearwater head that I'll be installing in the next week or so. It seems nice to be nice quality. I bought this brand because sounds like people have had good luck with them. They also have great customer service and during business hours they respond to email quickly. As far as its performance I haven't gotten that far yet.
Google, Mammoth Lakes, CA and you’ll see there are absolutely no junkyards anywhere near me. I have to order something and pick it up in Reno is the closest 4 hour drive.

Engine Quest out of Las Vegas, NV. One of my local motorhead guys recommended them. And when I talked to the guy’s they seemed extremely knowledgeable and VERY HELPFUL.
