Default 2001 2WD Limit Slip Conversion?

Hello All,
Couple years ago I bought a 2WD XJ telling myself, "you never wheel so you'll never need 4WD". A few months later I road tripped it up to NM in the winter and wished I had reconsidered after watching my one tire spin on an uphill climb during a light snow. Yesterday I got back from another trip where I wished I had a little more traction.

I'm still not convinced I need 4wd and I really love my Jeep. Does anyone know of a current thread that has a LSD conversion for a 2WD 2001 XJ Sport? or maybe someone has an idea on how to do this? I'd like to keep the same gearing ratio as I have been enjoying my 21 MPG on the highway.

Thanks for your help and hope to hear from you guys soon.
-Mike

The rear axles on two and four wheel drive rigs are the same.

Thanks for the advice guys. Are the Lockrite lockers autolockers or full lockers? I'm trying to get something that will be ok for highway use. Also, I'm a little confused about what differential I have. Originally I thought I had a Dana 35 but looking at the Powertrax rite it says it's a Chrysler 8.25":

Sorry about all the questions. I'm pretty new to differentials at this point but want to learn .

PowerTrax No-Slip auto locker, no ratcheting/clicking noise in turns, git 'er done, in your driveway, in a couple hours. Keep the light weight and simplicity of your 4X2.
