Since I've painted the end caps on my bumpers flat black, and my wheels are now black, the silver "JEEP", "CHEROKEE", "SPORT", and "4X4" look out of place.
I don't want to remove them, but I do want them to be black to fit the theme.
Is it possible to order these vehicle badges, still? I'm sure removing them to paint them probably isn't very easy... and painting them while on the Jeep probably isn't any easier.

I just removed all of the rub strips and lettering/logos on my 2000xj. Everything is attached with adhesive and I used a teflon rod sharpened to a chisel point. Adhesive won't stick to it and it doesn"t scratch the paint. I don"t know if they are available in black or not but I think an xj looks good without any of them.------GeezerD
