Before anyone gets upset, I already used the search function and tried what I found there but none of it pertains to my issues. Now that is out of the way, my 200 sport started acting funny in the past few days. It was running fine at first but would slightly misfire for 30 seconds if idling for 30 mins or so then trying to drive away. It never got worse, but then when in reverse, it now dies whenever any gas is applied whether its hot or cold before it even moves a foot. I limped it home from a friends house the night it started doing that by just idling out of the parking spot, but on the way home in drive going above 50 it started making a metal on metal rubbing sound at random times and enduring heavy misfires for about 10 second increments randomly. As well as a slight grind noise upon downshifts from 4th to second I believe but no other gears. I checked the wiring harness around the fuel rail and it hasn't rubbed through, which leads me to start thinking about the torque converter being bad or something else since the grinding noise isn't a gear noise. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as I'm at a point where I really have no idea what else to look for. I have a 2000 sport with the 4.0 and an AW4 transmission.
