i didnt end up taking pictures of the wiring before i wrapped it in electrical tape, unfortunately, but i promise you aren't missing much . i just routed the wires through the same holes they went through originally. i will say there are two black wires that are the same gauge and look the exact same so if anyone stumbles across this later on make sure to mark one with gaffers tape or something else before you start cutting, my wires were somewhat grouped already in the same orientation as the connectors on top so i just made a 50/50 guess and was right.
