2000 jeep xj limited questions?
I'm about to buy a 2000 jeep cherokee 4x4 limited. are there different variations of transfer cases in these? what are the specs of it? i pick it up next week and wanna start looking for parts. thanks y'all

NP 231 aka command-trac and NP 242 aka selec-trac.
Command trac is part time 4x4 only.
Selec trac has a part time and full time option.
Easily distinguished by looking at shifter selections.
