Hello Everyone!

i am Re-posting this because i have new data.

I have a 2000 Cherokee 39k mils, just replaced the head gasket.
the problem that i am having now was their before i replace the Head Gasket.
when i turn the car on the engine vibrates and the Check Engine Light came on. P0300 p00303, and p0305, but when i changed the head gasket i also replaced the plugs and the ignition coil.
however it still has the problem.

i finally got a chance to do the compression test, Not Good.
cylinder 5=55psi cylinder 3=25psi the rest of the cylinder were at least 120psi

I want to know what are the chances of it being the valves? because when i replaced the head gasket the pistons looked OK as well as the head.

Thanks

put a lil oil in the bad cylinders then do a check, if the psi increases its your rings, if nothing happens its your valves

Just wondering what prompted you to replace the head gasket @ 39 k, did the engine lose coolant and cook? You said the pistons looked fine was there deep scoring in the bore?

your compressions are wayyyy low. might as well look for a motor out of a total or get a qoute on a stock rebuild. could be rings and the vibrations you stated is the weak cylinders struggling to burn the fuel. its rebuild time man. sorry
